What We Do
We are a small non-profit that is licensed by the State of Michigan contracted by the Department of Health and Human Services to perform Adoption and Foster Care services for children who are removed from their biological homes. The goal of all cases is reunification with the biological family and adoption for these children is when reunification has not been accomplished. We also provide Domestic Infant Adoption Services for those families wishing to adopt a newborn child. Forever Families provides community education about the need for more foster homes or any of our other programs. Children are our priority and quality services is vision. We would like to expand our ability to provide these services, as well as, the addition of other services that will allow families to reunite with their children or for other families to adopt when they cannot.
Interesting Info
  • We have given hundreds of children Forever Families (permanent homes) since we started in 1997.
  • Michigan is in crisis with the need for licensed foster homes and many children end up in shelter care waiting for a home.
  • Our goal is to provide a one-stop agency for our families who are working towards reunification by adding services like therapy and parental support.
