What We Do

We protect, defend, and improve the Detroit River through community-based stewardship and restoration, now and for future generations.

Interesting Info

We started as a small group of concerned citizens who got together and successfully saved Humbug Marsh from redevelopment.
Volunteers and staff collected over 1,500 lbs. of trash from lower Detroit River islands and surrounding on-shore areas during 2022's Spring Cleanup.
We have eight restoration projects spanning the Detroit River that work to address erosion, wildlife habitat, and water quality.
