What We Do

The Friends of Rouge Park's Mission is to protect, restore, and promote a natural, environmentally healthy, and culturally vibrant Rouge Park that engages the community for the benefit and enjoyment of all

Interesting Info
  • Rouge park stretches 1,200 acres, that is bigger than Central Park in New York!
  • In 2024 we provided over 60 programs, ranging from volunteer clean ups to music festivals. This year we attracted over 2,000 participants across programming.
  • 2025 will be the Centennial Celebration year for Rouge Park! That's 100 years of having the largest accessible natural space in Detroit.
