What We Do
Giving Songs provides wheelchair accessible vehicle grants to SE Michigan families with a child who is a wheelchair user. These grants (averaging close to $14,000 each) are lifechanging for the families we support. Founded in 2012 by Brent and Jaime Johnson after the birth of their profoundly disabled son, Jack, Giving Songs is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) based in Northville, MI. Music is at the core of Giving Songs' awareness and fundraising efforts. We release monthly licensed cover songs recorded by local musicians and host live music fundraising events, in addition to other fundraising efforts.
