What We Do
HAVEN is Oakland County’s only agency offering comprehensive services for survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. HAVEN clients and their children have access to safe-emergency shelter, 24/7 crisis and support line, counseling, advocacy, forensic exams, community resources and educational programming. All client services are free of cost. HAVEN is funded by individual donors, corporate donors, community foundations and the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA). HAVEN is a nationally recognized organization with more than 40 years of experience. HAVEN's mission is to empower survivors to heal, and engage all individuals and communities to address and prevent sexual assault and intimate partner violence.
