Haven Homes of Detroit

Haven Homes of Detroit's Mission is to remove the barriers affecting survivors of Human Trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. 

We do this by providing safe housing focused on the creation of true community to allow women space, time, and resources for true healing. Our mission is three-fold. We purchase and renovate homes in Detroit that becomes a HOME for 3-4 women. Women will be in our program for 18-24 month's rent free. Living at the house provides a safe community and accountability so women can focus on their healing journey. Our program offers life skills learning, financial literacy training, job readiness, nutrition education, trauma support, case management, legal assistance and other activities that will provide opportunities for successful navigation of services both in the program and after. 

Our vision is to remove the barriers that the women leaving human trafficking or commercial exploitation face after leaving "the life".  We serve so they can move beyond the trauma that they have experienced and move on with their lives. We partner with local community providers to offer services the women we serve during their time with us and can be used after graduation from our program.
