What We Do
SandCastles is a grief support program that offers comprehensive grief services to children, teens, and caregivers after the death of a loved one. We offer year-round grief support groups that provide comfort to the whole family, educational opportunities for schools and community organizations, and an annual overnight summer camp for grieving children and teens. Our organization relies heavily on volunteers and donations to continue to provide valuable services to families free-of-charge when they need it most.
Interesting Info
- SandCastles serves around 400 families per year through support groups, summer camps, educational offerings, consultation calls, and special events.
- Our services cover over 1,000 square miles, serving grieving families in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties and beyond.
