What We Do

Our mission at Hospitality House is to minimize deprivation in our community by providing food and assistance to those in need while maintaining the utmost respect for the dignity of the individual. Hospitality House serves this mission by operating a client-choice pantry for eligible clients to 'shop' twice each month. For a client to be eligible, their household income must be at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines. We provide perishable and non-perishable food to those in need as well as connections to other service organizations and government agencies that may be able to assist them.

Volunteer - Volunteers keep our pantry running and this is the single best way to support Hospitality House! Opportunities include assisting clients while they 'shop', stocking and restocking pantry shelves, working in the warehouse processing deliveries, office administrative support, and attending special community events with Hospitality House.

Donate - Aside from just keeping the lights on, we buy much of the food we distribute (at reduced prices, of course). By donating money we secure more food through food banks than we would by purchasing from retail stores. Donations can be made online, through Paypal, and Venmo.

Food Drives and 3rd Party Events -  Hosting food drives or fundraising events on behalf of Hospitality House is always appreciated and a great way to spread awareness while also supporting our work. We are happy to support your event on our social media, answer any questions you may have about our current needs, and provide you with informational and promotional materials to ensure your event is a success!

Drop Off - Donations of cereal, juice, canned fruit and vegetables, soup, broth, chicken and beef stock, canned meats (tuna, chicken, salmon, etc.) peanut butter, jelly, rice, and many more are always needed. Donations of personal hygiene products (incontinence products, shampoo, toothpaste, laundry soap, deodorant, paper towels, etc.) are also accepted.
