What We Do

The Infinite Steps to Health Project is a content based organization that focuses on sharing health and wellness stories of those who belong to black and brown communities. Similar to a Vice media, The ISH Project is seeking to expand as an organization that creates content around intriguing and complex topics. Topics that open the minds of people throughout the world around the topic of health and wellness as it relates to African American and brown people.

So far we have created two documentary films that touch on the topic of health and wellness in a unique manner in order to expand what it means to talk about health. Our first film "Black Health IS" has won over 10 awards in film festivals. Our second film "I THINK" has been exclusively submitted to one film festival based in Detroit, MI. However, this film is a great example of the innovative and clear ways in which our organization aims to create health and wellness content throughout the world moving forward. Both of our documentary films embody what it means to share health and wellness stories in a unique and refreshing manner. We are currently in the process of creating a third film titled "Spirit of a Detroit Man" (watch clip), which demonstrates being intentional around wellness as it relates to culture and everyday activities. This film will feature an African American man from the city of Detroit who takes health seriously.

We have also recently launched a movement called "Those Who Take On ISH" where we interview and take portraits of individuals of the community who take on the initiative to be healthy and provide these health elements to the community. These interviews include restaurant owners like Meski, owner and chef at Taste of Ethiopia in Southfield, MI, to grade-A celebrities such as Jada Pickett-Smith, who share very insightful perspectives.

On our social media page (Instagram - @ish_project) you can also see our creative approach to health through pictures and short video clips. You can see both of our current documentaries below, along with the short clips created to promote them.
