Keep it Moving Inc
Keep It Moving, Inc. is a 501©3 nonprofit organization founded in January 2000.
We provide educational support for youth and families across the state of Michigan. The organization was born out of young people incarcerated at the Wayne County Juvenile Center. We are committed to helping our community implement evidenced-based prevention programs to create positive and productive results that change behavior and benefit the community. We are also committed to providing our constituents with a safe and secure environment to help change and improve relationships between our youth, adult community, and governmental agencies. Our result is enhanced educational opportunities involving the environment, planting trees, working with at-risk youth, and increasing racial equity in the environmental and forestry minority workforce. Additionally, Keep It Moving, Inc. is licensed by the state of Michigan in Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
