What We Do

Kids Kicking Cancer’s Heroes Circle is open to all children with any pediatric illness and their families. The Heroes Circle program provides therapeutic martial arts classes and hospital visits for children and teens. Our mission is to ease the pain of very sick children while empowering them to heal physically, spiritually and emotionally. Specially trained black belt martial artists teach breathing, visualization, and relaxation techniques, in addition to therapeutic martial arts, to empower the children and provide them with a sense of power, peace, and purpose. The Heroes Circle is a division of Kids Kicking Cancer, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1999 by a black belt father who lost his first child to leukemia. We have currently empowered over 7,000 children in 7 countries.
