What We Do
Macomb County Pride has a mission to create a supportive environment for the LGBTQ+ community and to be a resource in Macomb County.
We respect and affirm the dignity of all people and promise to create pathways for inclusivity and support opportunities for all. We are focused on fostering a vibrant culture where everyone is respected and has a sense of belonging.
MCP is an all-volunteer run organization. Volunteers plan our annual Pride Festival, Pride Picnic, and other outreach events throughout the year to create a better, brighter community in Macomb County. LGBTQ+ community and allies welcome.
Interesting Info
- MCP held Macomb County's first Pride Festival in 2020 in downtown Mount Clemens.
- We don't hold our festival during Pride month as celebrating Pride isn't just for June.
