Make Food Not Waste
What We Do
Food has no business being in landfills. We work to keep it from going there. At our Upcycling Kitchen located in the Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church in Detroit, our chefs make use of all sorts of edible, nutritious food and keep it from going to waste by making meals for the community. We also help restaurants and home cooks find ways to use what they buy and to make the most of food budgets.

- In 2020, we made 5000 meals for Thanksgiving!
- In 2021, we've repurposed 35,000+ lbs of food into community meals
- In 2022, we'll help 30 Detroit restaurants receive The PLEDGE on Food Waste international certification
