What We Do

The mission of Mi Work Matters is to increase employment opportunities for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). We do this by empowering individuals with I/DD, and our community, to be diverse, inclusive and equitable in intentional job attainment and creation, through cohesive employment programs and partnerships. Our activities include grassroots advocacy, education, outreach and directly employing people with I/DD at our award winning, inclusive program – Anastasia and Katie’s Coffee Shop & Cafe in Livonia Michigan.
