The Neighborhood Club is a non-profit community service organization providing a professionally organized program of recreation and wellness services for families and individuals of all ages. The Neighborhood Club is a leader in developing cooperative, coordinated plans and programs with other public, private and voluntary agencies that provide recreation and wellness services.
Activities are conducted in the Neighborhood Club Recreation and Wellness Center, as well as Grosse Pointe Public School System gymnasiums and fields throughout the Grosse Pointe area. The Neighborhood Club does not have a residency requirement. Everyone is welcome!
- We offer sports and recreation programs for all ages and abilities!
- The Neighborhood Club was founded by a board of 24 women in 1911 to meet the recreational, educational, and social service needs of families in the area.
- The Neighborhood Club also consists of the Neighborhood Club Preschool and Neighborhood Club Thrift Shop
