New Hope Center for Grief Support. New Hope Center for Grief Support is a 501(c)3 nonprofit serving the mission of bringing hope, healing, and new beginnings to children, families, and adults impacted by the death of a loved one. Our vision is to see those who have come through our program create a safe, supportive community for others in grief and help change the way our culture responds to grief and loss. New Hope never wants finances to be a barrier to receiving support at such a difficult time after a loss, therefore, our programs and services are free of charge and open to all.
Grief is a universal life experience that we all share. However, the way in which we experience it is unique to each person and each relationship lost. From husbands, wives, and children to parents, grandparents, siblings and friends – loss affects everyone.
As a peer support organization, we understand both the pain of loss and the need for age and loss specific support programs. It is our mission to reach grieving people more effectively and with greater impact through changing despair to hope, heartbreak to healing, and transforming grief into life changing new beginnings.
- New Hope helped over 25,000 grievers in 2023
- New Hope currently provides 29 different age and loss specific ongoing peer support groups, both in person and virtual.
