What We Do

Pajama Program is a national, 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to promote and support a comforting bedtime routine and healthy sleep for all children to help them thrive. Sleep is as important for children’s development as proper nutrition and exercise, but challenges like low family income, housing insecurity, and family instability prevent many children from getting the sleep they need for good health, emotional well-being, and school success. Pajama Program provides children facing adversity with bedtime basics, sleep health education, and caring connections so they can feel secure at night and sleep well. By distributing new pajamas and books, teaching children, families, and educators about healthy sleep, and cultivating supportive communities, we help children have Good Nights for Good Days.
