What We Do
PASC (Progressive Art Studio Collective) was launched in January 2021 as the first progressive art and design studio, and exhibition program, in Detroit and Wayne County, dedicated to supporting artists with developmental disabilities and mental health differences to advance independent artistic practices and build individual career paths in the art and design fields. PASC is a program of Services to Enhance Potential (STEP) a non-profit disability services organization, founded in 1972.
Interesting Info
- Currently we have 3 in-person studios in Detroit, Westland and Southgate, supporting over 150 artists with disabilities.
- PASC is the first art studio and gallery for disabled artists in Detroit, joining a network of over 60+ progressive studios in major cities across the USA
- We will be opening a public gallery and studio in a mixed use arts center in the East Village area of Detroit
