Addiction is another disease that touches everyone. No family, street, school, business, or town is immune from the destructive power of addiction. Untreated, addiction destroys individuals. It brings trauma to loved ones. Addiction respects no distinction of age, gender, demographic, or character. Children raised in the home of a substance abuser face immediate and long-term damage. Even unborn children can be harmed by the results of addiction.
At Sacred Heart, clients are served by a staff of compassionate professionals, many of whom are in recovery themselves.
