Sanctum House
Sanctum House treats each individual on their journey of recovery from the trauma of Human Trafficking. Trauma Informed Care sits at our core. We are focused on the individual’s needs as they arise, making sure that safety, both mental and physical, is continually provided. Sanctum House relies on donations and volunteers to manage everything from day-to-day operations, to transportation and mental health therapy. Any contribution to creating a sustaining sense of future for the women of Sanctum House is immensely appreciated. Each woman's journey is an independent one. Our Case Manager works with individual healthcare providers to ensure the best care and treatment. Some women can move on after nine or ten months, some stay for over two years. Each Resident benefits from a carefully monitored and customized care plan. We opened February 12, 2018 and have served over 100 survivors to date. We were among the first of our type in Michigan. Sanctum House needs continual support to raise awareness about our program, provide trauma-informed care, and provide a path to recovery for the victims of Human Trafficking.
