What We Do
Team Suzy helps families and caregivers caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's and other related Dementia. We issue financial grants to qualified families who apply online through our application process. In collaboration with Michigan Humane we have developed a Companion Pet Program that families can adopt a cat or dog through Michigan Humane and Team Suzy will help with the cost of caring for the pet. Team Suzy programs are no cost programs however, applicants must apply online and must meet our criteria. Go to teamsuzy.org
Interesting Info
  • In 2021 we issued 5 grant to families to help with day today caregiving. This year 2022 we will issue 15- 20 grants to families.
  • 74 % of caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimer's and other Dementias reported they were "concerned" or "very concerned" about maintaining their own health.
  • Team Suzy goals are to continue to serve and provide Help for those who are in their long journey of caregiving.
