Founded in 1971, Wayne Metro is a non-profit organization serving approximately 70,000 low-and moderate-income residents throughout Wayne County with over 75+ servicesin the areas of Equity and Inclusion, Healthy Homes, Upward Mobility and Family Success.
- Our Healthy Homes services assists almost 12,000 households each year with utility, rent, mortgage or home repair assistance.
- Within our Upward Mobility impact area, over 4,000 households each year receive financial coaching or homeownership counseling to increase assets.
- Our Family Success initiative provides thousands of families with early childhood education or youth enrichment support services each year.
