Blessings in a Backpack - Dearborn

Blessings in a Backpack is looking for volunteers to help transport packed bags of weekend food to participating elementary schools in Dearborn. This task requires a car and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Deliveries take place on Thursdays between 9:00am and 2:00pm, and require about one hour of time. 

Ideally, volunteers will commit to drive 2-5 tote bins containing bags of food to one elementary school (Blessings in a Backpack delivers to seven schools weekly). Interested volunteers could do this on a weekly or monthly basis.
