Detroit CHEMpreneurIST

-Responsible for the implementation of the Detroit CHEMpreneurIST Personal Care Chemistry and
Entrepreneurship Curriculum at the number of program sites advised by contract.
-Engage children in activities in afterschool or community engagement events as advised by contract.
-Ensure required program evaluation materials are administered to students, parents, and
organizational partners per program site.
-Must be knowledgeable in high school core academics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and
Reading).
-Must demonstrate a mature attitude in engaging with students, parents, school district staff and
community partners.
-Responsible for managing and actively engaging student groups.
-Act as a role model for enrolled Detroit CHEMpreneurIST participants socially and academically.
-Maintain record of student attendees and communications to program participants.
-Effectively plan in advance for program classes.
-Follow lesson plans that accompany the curriculum and note any modifications made.
-Ensure the safety of all participants’ in assigned locations.
-Other duties as assigned.
