The Director of Fund development shall support the organization in operating in ways that are equitable, from interactions to policies, and lead from an inside-out model. Alongside centering equity across the organization, the director shall seek out funding from other entities that aligns with the organizational mission and vision, this includes writing for grant opportunities.  The director shall report to the board the status of any pursuit of funding and any other necessary information.

• Attend monthly board meetings
• 10 hours per month of individual work, in addition to any meetings attended, to work on growth and development of organization
  • Including but not limited to: Curriculum development, creating presentations, community or government outreach
• Helping with fundraising efforts (board members are responsible for the fiscal health of the organization)
• Each board member is responsible for raising funds
• Individual contributions - min $500 per year (can be a personal contribution)
  • Including but not limited to: small personal fundraisers, personal contributions, and in-kind donations
• Planning one fundraising event collectively as a board 
• Assisting (collaboratively or individually) with at least one grant per year
• $25 dues per fiscal year (February-January) due at end of the first quarter (April 30)
  • Dues are subject to change by majority vote of board members
