Oakland HOPE

Friends of Oakland HOPE Committee Member 

We are looking for someone to help jump-start the Friends of Oakland HOPE Committee.  Description: The role of the Friends Committee is to raise awareness and continue building grass-roots support within the community.  This 2-prong approach includes raising awareness of the relevant issues and negative effects of hunger and food insecurity on the health of children and families.  And the importance of Community involvement, engagement and volunteerism communicated out to community elected officials, church, business and the general public.  Communicating the message of who we are, what we do and why their involvement is critical.
