This is a volunteer opportunity that can be done on your own time. We do outreach several times a week and are always in need of lunches and snack bags to pass out to the young women we are working with. Snack Ideas: Small bags of chips, breakfast/cereal bars, cheese/peanut butter crackers, raisins/dried fruit, cookies, granola bars, pudding/applesauce, veggies, gum, hard candy, apples/oranges/grapes, water bottles, juice boxes & small gatorade bottles Sandwich Ideas: White bread or sub buns, ham, turkey, roast beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato *Please NO mustard or mayo* Please keep in consideration when building your packages, that the young women involved with us typically have limited space or are on the move. Please place your sandwiches, fruit/veggies in ziplock bags. Please keep bagged items and any other snack items in a brown lunch bag. *Lunches can be packed in ziplock bags and placed in individual cinch drawstring bags* IMPORTANT: When your lunches are ready please drop them off at Faith Lutheran Church in Troy, MI (address below) before 1pm on Thursdays and 12pm on Fridays.
