Architectural Salvage Warehouse of Detroit

Volunteer Opportunity:
Warehouse Helpers
I'm Interested!

ASWD is looking for folks to help in our warehouse. Process lumber for reuse. Learn the ins and outs of architectural salvage and building materials, while helping to keep valuable materials from re-entering the waste stream.

The Architectural Salvage Warehouse of Detroit (ASWD), a 501c3 nonprofit organization, was started in response to the tremendous amount of waste being generated in the demolition of houses in Detroit and its suburbs. Rather than demolishing buildings, we deconstruct them and process the materials for reuse. We also offer low-cost building materials and fixtures to the greater Detroit area, through our resale storefront. We're transforming waste into opportunity!
