PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Southeast Michigan is a unique health plan and comprehensive care provider, committed to keeping chronically ill aging adults in their home by caring for their medical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. While PACE Southeast Michigan provides care to older adults, there are other basic and emergency necessities that, due to funding regulations, are not covered by the program. This is where you and PACE Southeast Michigan’s Community Giving Fund and volunteer program come in! Donate today to support the Community Giving Fund, which helps with costs for roof repairs, repair or replacement of appliances, and avoiding utility shutoffs and evictions. Additionally, you can find gratification with a volunteer position that matches your interest such as day center helper, transportation companion, administrative support, and more. This is a great opportunity to help one of the most vulnerable populations in southeast Michigan – our seniors – stay in the homes and communities they love.
- Since 2016, PACE Southeast Michigan has spent $415,000 on participants through the Community Giving Fund.
- The Community Giving Fund has prevented 48 utilities from being shut off, keeping our seniors living safely in their homes.
- In 2022 alone, nearly $90,000 was raised for older adults living in Southeast Michigan.
