The 100 Toys Christmas Giveaway is poised to have a significant impact on low-income families in several ways. Firstly, the provision of toys during the holiday season can bring joy and happiness to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to receive gifts.

While any Tuesday can be a #GivingTuesday, this past November 29th was the official celebration of Giving Tuesday, a day that encourages people to do good. We here at SHARE held a local competition to spread the word about Giving Tuesday in Detroit. Winners of the competition each received $1,000 to continue their important work.
