Holiday Collection Drives 2023

There's still time to Shop for Good and provide the items local nonprofits need to help their program participants this holiday season.

A Girl Like Me Inc

The 100 Toys Christmas Giveaway is poised to have a significant impact on low-income families in several ways. Firstly, the provision of toys during the holiday season can bring joy and happiness to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to receive gifts. The simple act of receiving a toy can uplift their spirits, boost their self-esteem, and create lasting memories.

These requested items are needed for the people we serve. Families are not asking for food as there is plenty from many organizations and churches already. They have requested clothing items to keep themselves and kids warm. The items we put on our wish list are high priority for these households.

  • We are collecting underclothes, toiletries and bathroom essentials for the families we serve in our programs. These items will help keep women and girls warm during the colder days. The Blood Cancer Foundation of Michigan

Each year, BCFM provides gifts to more than 700 children and teens across the state. We provide gifts not only to pediatric patients, but to their siblings and to children of adult patients because we understand that a blood cancer diagnosis affects the entire family.

  • When you sign up for this program, you can tell us how many children you'd like to support and we will send over each child's wish list so you can provide them with the exact toys they've requested. We ask that you purchase 3-5 toys for each child you choose to support.
  • Want to do more or help out in different ways? We also need volunteers to help package these toys to get them ready to be shipped to families.
