The Walter White Community Resource Center needs volunteer groups of all sizes to manage donations.
The center has seasonal rooms with gently used (and new) clothing for men, women and children. It has a baby room with baby items and some baby gear. The center has a Diaper Depot and formula and baby food to help families in need. The center also has a lovely decor room and a Toy Chest area with new and gently used toys. The items are free, and the center is open to ANYONE who would like to take advantage of what it has to offer. The Resource Center is open by appointment, but volunteers' hours and days may be different as the center doesn't normally have shoppers on volunteer days. We welcome small groups as well as larger corporate groups. We can use your help; we receive lots of wonderful donations that need to be sorted and placed. Primary contact: Hazel Makino.

Make a Fleece Blanket
We are always in need of fleece blankets to include in Care Packs to our families who are facing cancer. The blankets can be child-themed patterns or adult, as we send them to all ages. They can also be small lap blankets - which are easily used during chemo treatments and will not get tangled in the cords - or full size for use at home. Please deliver or send blankets to the New Day office for distribution to patients. Groups, families and kids are welcome.
